I do plan to write a blog about the camera and pictures and how they come out, but first I need to give you some tips on helping the kids stay amused during “boring family time” over the next few days. And yes, truth is my kids discovered these features, and tested them!
Selfie Shots: Did you know that you can set the device so that, when you look at the screen, the front camera detects your face and takes a selfie automatically. (Please note: Tween will NOT put the setting back, so please be aware of lots of “omg I look that old” when your camera suddenly takes shots of you).

Have enough of real life? Then try Augmented Reality applications. Great fun for avatars, or chasing burgers. To access that, select "More" and then AR stickers: My Avatar helps you create a cartoon version of yourself and customize it. AR Emoji helps you create 3D animated animal emojis that mimic facial expression. AR Sticker allows you to choose from several different stickers to use on a photo or video (like this burger).
So what extra features of the camera have you discovered? What do you want me to test next?
