It's a camcorder, professional still camera, video-streaming, music-streaming, video game playing, ultimate media device, and it can end up using up tons of bandwidth. This is such a beast of a phone, that you will be using it for everything. Here are two ways to save on your data plan.
Turn on data savings from the Android menu. To do this, go to "Settings", choose "Network & Internet", then "Mobile network", then "Data warning & limit", then turn on "Set data limit".
You will see the following window pop up.
Choose "OK", then click on "Data limit" to choose the maximum amount of mobile data that your phone carrier allows.
Keep in mind that when mobile data is off, you are now reliant on Wi-Fi for your data needs; oof.
Option two (preferred option):
Quit any antiquated phone carrier that still limits you and your data and sign up for Sprint Unlimited. Stream as much as you want. Upload as many photos or videos as you want. Do whatever you want, when you want to. Plus you also get the highest fidelity music from Tidal, as well as a subscription to Amazon Prime. This is the no-brainer option. You have the best phone, so get the best plan.
