A flagship level device deserves flagship level specs and that is an area where the LG V30+ excels. This includes the 6.0 display, QHD+ OLED panel with 538ppi, 835 Octa-Core processor, and exclusive to the plus version 128 GB of internal memory.
There was a time not so long ago that phones were terribly fragile. I am sure like me most of you have experienced the stress of being caught in the rain and then worrying about a ruined phone. Next most stressful are the oops moments with a phone is dropped and moments later you are left with a cracked screen or a mangled device.
Thankfully, the LG V30+ has built-in protection that is going to help your device live on until that moment when the generation of devices come and you just can’t pass up the chance to upgrade again.
First, there is the build. This device has the latest version of Gorilla glass with glass 5 surrounding the phone body and glass for the lense of the back camera. Inside the phone, you will find an advanced heat management system that will help the phone components remain cooler even with heavy use. The added “heat pipe” inside the phone serves to disperse heat so that the likelihood of damage is lessened.
You do not have to just take LG’s word on the durability. The LG V30+ comes with two levels of certification to ensure your confidence. This device is IP68 certified to be dust and water resistant and has the added protection of also being MIL-STD-810G certified. The 810G certification means this phone is both shock and drop tested.
Despite all these fancy certifications, it is still important to understand that there is a difference between “resistant” and “proof”. Also, glass breaks and a drop on the pavement can still lead to cracks. That is why it is still important to protect your investment with a quality case. Dropping a few bucks to cover your investment should be a given with any new phone purchase.
My favorite case now for many years is the Spigen Tough Armor. It covers the corners and provides a nice little kickstand which is great for keeping things hand while watching videos or playing music.
Here is a quick video overview of the case.
The Product Ambassadors are Sprint employees from many different parts of the company that love technology. They volunteer to test out all sorts of Sprint devices and offer opinions freely to the Community. Each Product Ambassador shares their own opinions of these devices, therefore the information in this post does not necessarily reflect the opinions of Sprint. The PA's do not represent the company in an official way, and should not be expected to respond to Community members in an official capacity. #sprintemployee
