Screen Protector. Yes or No?

I have the HTC TP2.  I am wondering if I should install or have a screen protector installed.  I like the feel and the sensitivity level of the screen currently.  Will putting a screen protector on this screen change its sensitivity level?  Anyone noticed?

TIA!

well I will say this, I had the original touch pro and no screen peotector and my screen got all scratched up so when I got my TP2 I got the protector and it is great I have not noticed it affecting the sensitivity level at all and I don't have to worry about it gettin all messed up, I would highly recommend putting one on your screen or it will get scratches on it and my protector is so clear I can't even tell I have one on it.

I carry my TP2 in my front pants pocket. I got some screen protectors from Sprint but they fell off quickly. The touch screen still worked well.

I keep the pocket otherwise empty but work in some dirty places and the phone's screen is still ok. I suspect it has some kind of coating that resists abrasion.
