I found this site and got some of the good free programs for HTC. Here is the link:
Check it out, you will not regret, just been added a month ago or less.
I thought to share those nice add on to the original 6.1 by now, SPRINT don't take my post as I'm happy with 6.1 ... I need the update as others too. We need the 6.5 ready ...
this is outrageous how long we have to wait when everybody else have received there's. whats worst is they cant even be straight up with us and gives us a date like all the other carriers did, then when u call customer support and they act like they never heard of a 6.5 update. then they look it up online and say "by the end of q1" i dont know what u guys think about that, but thats sad since htc gave it to there other carriers in other countries in september. then when you call htc they tell you that its been given to sprint. they said its up to the carrier. And finally when you talk to somebody at sprint that does know about windows 6.5 they say "were working on it making sure all sprint stuff works right". So your telling me we're getting this big delay because of some dumb sprint tv that nobody watches. the crazy part is since windows phone 7 series is getting so much buzzz; by the time sprint comes out with the update people arent even gonna care.(i know im not.) to top it off im mad how sprint hasnt even responded to there on forum.
Sorry everyone for the long reply. But this was my first time using the forum and i had a lot to get off my chest about sprint.

OK, here's a "C-R-A-Z-Y" idea... how about Sprint releases the updated ROM without the Sprint Applications that are supposedly going to be SO FANTASTIC that we can't wait (and wait and wait and wait) to be released -- By the time the updated ROM gets released my Touch Pro2 will go the way of the telegraph (do you think Western Union can send a telegraph to Sprint, maybe they'll respond then).
The reason I say release it without the Sprint Applications... when I bought my Mogul, I had to download NFL Mobile to get it on the phone. I also had to download the ability to send/receive picture mail.
Since I write applications for WM, why can't their applications just have installers? Do they REALLY need to be part of the ROM image? No, they don't. The only reason that I can think that Sprint would require their applications to be part of the ROM image is so that the CM_Guardian_Service can enforce their settings.
C'mon Sprint, just release the ROM without your applications and let us download those when you get them finished. Don't make us wait.
That being said, I'm going to throw some fuel on the conspiracy theory bandwagon... I have a sneaky suspicion that Sprint is trying to figure out a way to get the CM_Guardian_Service from being compromised and they still haven't come up with a way yet.
I absolutely agree with you. That is the reason that they are delaying, it has to do with their security to force people of using this phone solely for Sprint.
I have hard time to remove all of their application without touching the WM system. I did remove the icons on the program list as for me they are useless and full of crap, trial version etc and hate by an accident to purchase something or subscribe for something I will get charged for later on.
If we get the ROM and we do the rest, it will be lovely idea. Who needs other programs if they are not prior installed, do as Microsoft is doing now, let us pick the programs that we like to have on our phones, we can visit Sprint site and look over the programs that Sprint carry and we would like to use.
Delay more Sprint and you will find more people willing to go the other way that you don't wish, that what they call it in business point of denial and regret.
I don't follow with you madscientist? the original message I have send to my email was: "I did, and then I reposted here with a reverse link, and it was rejected by the moderators." I checked and this message is gone?
I can't find it? what is going on? what you wrote that the moderator didn't like?
dude i have not used one swear in this fourm and have had at least ten post removed. you know what, i'm going to stop caring anymore. because i have said it once and will say it again. this new rom is going to be a big disapointment. the time we have waited and we are going to get nothing more than a tweaked 6.1. i have used a carrier version of 6.5 and the only big difference is that the start menu has icons instead of programs and some more options in the settings tabs.
i use custom roms now and how am i going to go from 6.5.3 with sense 2.5 to anything sprint is going to give me. thats like going from touch pro back to 6800. there is no way they are going to release a 6.5.3 wm and we will be lucky to see sense 2.1. i think personaly we will be lucky to see a rom period from sprint. it has been far to long. anything they want to do to it could be done by now. point blank
JackG058...you think HTC and Sprint will adapt the Sense UI for the WM 6.5 update? Interesting! I know many cooks out there have adapted the Sense UI for their ROMs for the TP2, but I thought that HTC considered it their UI for Android phones... I was looking forward to the 6.5 update simply so that I might stop using TouchFlo 3d and run just WM 6.5 (so many programs don't work with TouchFlo 3d) What I've read leads me to believe that the purpose of 6.5 was to finally make Windows Mobile attractive and finger friendly enough to use on a touchscreen phone without the need of a proprietary UI. I've looked at any number of Android/Sense UI phones and I'm not sure I like Sense. I actually rather like TouchFlo 3d...if it were imbedded throughout the WM 6.1 interface I'd love it. I suppose I'm no more required to run a new HTC UI than I am now ... so I'll be happy with the 6.5 update either way...I just expected that TouchFlo 3d would stay about the same...just reworked to run 6.5.
again i have 6.5.3 and sense 2.5 cooked together and there some minor issues that are fixable. other than that it runs great. don't get me wrong, touchflo 3d was great but the sense ui is much more vibrant and the customizing you can do is far more advance then anything i have seen to date. i dare any of you to download energy rom and see after that if your expectations of sprints new rom don't go way up. i can tell you from experince that no other custom rom has what energy has. you get to chose from about ten differrent clocks, with the touch of one button. you can decide if you want the call history button/calender on the home screen. much much more.
Ill jump ship for a Snapdragon WM6.5.3 with sense and a keyboard... First carrier to get that gets my money... give me an HD2 with a keyboard and Im all over that... Then I can run my emulators full speed, and have my open OS WM6.5 and not stuck with WM7 aka iClone
It's crazy that spirnt mods have been to this thread long enough to delete peoples posts, but not to actually answer them.
