My wife and I "upgraded" to iPhone 4s. Not doing research we have become a bit disenchanted with the need for wifi to access the VideoChat. If I can get the web over the cell line why can't the VidChat run the same way?
Maybe they want to give "you" the option of what software "you" have on "your" device instead of loading it with a bunch of crapware. The App Store makes it simple to add what you want. The other major platform only sometimes comes pre-loaded with Qik Video on their devices. Go get the iOS version (or Skype) for your device from the App Store.

Yeah, that and Cydia. It really depends on the user to like iOS and the iPhone line. I, myself, have been a fan of the iPhone since they launched in 07. They were extremely expensive. Costing 499$ with a 2 year contract for 4gb. It also revolutionized the smart phone industry.
Solution: Jailbreak the phone and install facebreak from Cydia. Now there is no jailbreak available yet but there should be one in the upcoming weeks. You can find out if it can be jailbroken by going to these websites:
