Is anyone else having problems with Siri? I keep getting "Sorry, I am having trouble connecting to the netowrk". It worked great earlier, but now not so much. Data has been really slow too. I'm assuming the network is just getting killed. If that is the case, it is a shame since Mr. Hesse said that Sprint would be able to handle the iPhone.

This is indeed very strange, please try this:
Test it out for a couple of hours and let us know if this happens again.
Sprint Social Care.
It's not you, it's the network speed too slow. Check out this thread. This problem will go away if you connect wifi.
Yes, I have the same problem. Siri relies on data connection to "Siri" server. And since data connection is "super slow" on the iphone 4S launch day, it's "temporary" out-of-service. Try again in odd time, like midnight
Try asking "Is my Siri working now ?"
Haha, im watching the Siri demo from my NY Fox 5 news, and it does not work as good as i thought when in the quiet studio the iphone siri was unable to answer the question
How old is president obama? test was done twice. now it did get it right after a few attempts. I did the same on my samsung epic with its voice command an it came up with the same info.
also, it won't work if there is ambient background noise, so forget it on a loud city NY street with all that noise.
as explained by the expert, ITS NOT FLAWLESS. No wonder the old saying is TRY BEFORE YOU BUY.
Siri is also still in beta. Apple said so at the lunch event. She's not perfect, but she works pretty damn well I gotta admit. I've been playing with her a fair bit. I did find I talk a bit too fast for her sometimes and she will miss understand a few words I said, would be funny to see how she handles a drunk guy slurring his speech. She does some great things thou, and some funny stuff as well. Try asking her something off the wall. A buddy told her he wanted to commit suicide and she pulled up a bunch of local mental health facilities. A request for an adult favor pulled up a listing of local escorts, etc
Yes Siri wasn't working to good for me either...until I returned my sprint phone with its pitiful data speed and got and Att phone, now Siri has no problem connecting to the network and it works amazing.
You work for ATT obviously. Nobody here wants to pay more money and have data caps for the same device. Get out of here with that nonsense. AT&T is known for overcharging customers from mobile phones to UVERSE.
Sorry don't work for Att, I had sprint for three days and got sick of speeds that averaged .12-.20 Mbps, since Siri relies on data to communicate to the server that's why it doesn't work well with sprint, my new 4S with att pulls down 4-5 Mbps average therefore fixing the server issue, but hey enjoy your subpar unlimited data my friend! What good is unlimited if you can't do anything with it.
@generallee3... I did the same thing on my Epic voice command. I want to commit suicide and it gave me listing on How to commit suicide
I ve asked .. I want to find pot? I want to look for a hooker.
I even tried .. i want to commit murder and get away with it
I havent had major issues like most are complaining about and I do stay in areas where wifi is available most of the time. You enjoy paying extra for "speed" so you can come brag on the sprint forums? Sounds like you want to come back because you keep hanging over here when all your problems are "fixed".
Also, try using Siri on wifi, it works much better doesn't it? Hmmmm, I wonder if it's because wifi provides a faster connection, better yet find somebody with a Verizon or att 4S and try their Siri, bet it works just fine.
Oh and enjoy your dropped calls. AT&T network is crap so basic things like handling phone calls is a challenge. But hey, your SPEEDTEST results look fast! LMAO!
